The fast grounding switch is arranged on the side of the line side of the outgoing line isolation switch of the outgoing circuit, and it has two functions:
1 Open and close parallel overhead lines due to capacitive current generated by electrostatic induction and inductive current generated by electromagnetic induction;
2 When the insulator inside the shell has a creepage phenomenon or the inside of the shell is ignited, the fast grounding switch drops the main circuit and quickly grounds, and the circuit breaker is used to cut the fault current.
Generally, the fast grounding switch is used on the 110KV GIS high voltage.
