FN18 12KV 24KV 36KV Air-insulated switch disconnectors (load break switches) and fuse disconnectors (load break switches) are designed as critical disconnecting elements for air-insulated switchgear and transformer compact substation applications. Its unique arc extinguishing and high switching capacity design make it an attractive solution.
FN18 12KV 24KV 36KV series combines the advantages of disconnectors and fuses. They ensure control over the entire range of overload and short circuit currents. They can be used to switch and protect distribution transformers, electric motors and capacitor banks.
FN18 12KV 24KV 36KV switch disconnectors are based on a modular principle. The base unit consists of a frame with insulators and current-carrying parts. There are two different types of operating mechanisms: Type K snap action or Type A stored-energy spring-loaded mechanism. The operating mechanism can be mounted on the rack. Type F fuse bases, with or without fuse tripping mechanism, and type E/EB earthing switches, for direct mounting and free-standing components, form the basic equipment of disconnectors. These modules can be easily configured according to customer requirements. Accessories such as shunt releases, undervoltage releases, auxiliary switches, motor operation and various manual operating systems can be easily added.
